{"id":402,"date":"2021-09-26T23:01:22","date_gmt":"2021-09-26T22:01:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/binarywords.com\/?p=402"},"modified":"2023-11-02T16:08:38","modified_gmt":"2023-11-02T16:08:38","slug":"espacio-para-crecer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/binarywords.com\/en\/2021\/09\/26\/espacio-para-crecer\/","title":{"rendered":"Room to grow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today I\u00b4m sharing with you this poem by Khalil Gibran, which I remember hearing years ago at my friend Araceli\u00b4s wedding, and which has kept resonating more and more with me since then:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You were born together, and together you shall be forevermore. You shall be together when the white wings of death scatter your days. Ay, you shall be together even in the silent memory of God. But let there be spaces in your togetherness, and let the winds of the heavens dance between you.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Love one another, but make not a bond of love: let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. Fill each other\u2019s cup but drink not from one cup. Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf. Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of your be alone, even as the strings of the lute are alone though they quiver with the same music. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Give your hearts, but not into each other\u2019s keeping. For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts. And stand together yet not too near together: for the pillars of the temple stand apart, and the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other\u2019s shadow.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" height=\"450\" width=\"676\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/binarywords.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/pexels-photo-268533.jpeg?resize=676%2C450&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is pexels-photo-268533-1024x681.jpeg\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How beautiful, especially that last line...
