{"id":8646,"date":"2026-02-08T16:17:46","date_gmt":"2026-02-08T16:17:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/binarywords.com\/?p=8646"},"modified":"2026-02-08T18:04:20","modified_gmt":"2026-02-08T18:04:20","slug":"la-camara-de-la-vida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/binarywords.com\/en\/2026\/02\/08\/la-camara-de-la-vida\/","title":{"rendered":"Life is like a camera"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ladies and gentlemen, today\u00b4s article is number 250 in BinaryWords \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">250 reflections on a variety of topics, linked by the same common thread: personal and professional growth, which, in my opinion, always go hand in hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I remember that, during the first few months of writing this blog, back in 2021, I used to get inspiration from the pictures and posters I had around the house to write some of the articles (like, for example <a href=\"https:\/\/binarywords.com\/en\/2021\/06\/02\/ser-lo-bastante-experto\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/binarywords.com\/2021\/06\/02\/ser-lo-bastante-experto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/binarywords.com\/en\/2022\/02\/13\/como-ramas-de-un-arbol\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/binarywords.com\/es_es\/2022\/02\/13\/como-ramas-de-un-arbol\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/binarywords.com\/en\/2022\/04\/03\/recordatorio\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/binarywords.com\/es_es\/2022\/04\/03\/recordatorio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>), as well as dusting off some quotes I had found in <a href=\"https:\/\/binarywords.com\/en\/2021\/06\/15\/imanes-de-nevera\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/binarywords.com\/es_es\/2021\/06\/15\/imanes-de-nevera\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">greeting cards<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/binarywords.com\/en\/2021\/06\/15\/imanes-de-nevera\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/binarywords.com\/es_es\/2021\/06\/15\/imanes-de-nevera\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fridge magnets<\/a> and even newspaper clippings or <a href=\"https:\/\/binarywords.com\/en\/2022\/03\/06\/no-te-detengas\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/binarywords.com\/es_es\/2022\/03\/06\/no-te-detengas\/\">publicity leaflets<\/a>. I realised that, without really noticing, I had been gathering inspiring <a href=\"https:\/\/binarywords.com\/en\/2021\/07\/31\/desiderata\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/binarywords.com\/es_es\/2021\/07\/31\/desiderata\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">materials<\/a> for years, though I had never thought of sharing them until then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And given that inspiration can be found literally anywhere, over the years, I\u00b4ve been developing the habit of staying always alert, with my radar on, and taking photos of interesting things I bump into when I\u00b4m out and about. I\u00b4ll admit that I\u00b4m a total disaster when it comes to taking pictures of people (and even a bigger disaster, if possible, when it comes to appearing in those pictures myself), but if you look at my gallery, you\u00b4ll see that it\u00b4s full of apparently random photos with the potential of maybe one day helping me to convey an idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, browsing that gallery, I found this photo of a poster I found in a shop years ago, comparing life to a photo camera. Interestingly, physical cameras are in fashion again nowadays, with their flash and their buttons, as opposed to taking photos with your phone...
